Living Water Uniting Church are calling for applicants for a casual, 8 hour per week, cleaning position at our Mansfield Centre. The focus of this role is to ensure that the buildings and facilities are in the best possible condition by regular and thorough cleaning. A detailed position description is available upon request.
Wages are in line with the Miscellaneous Award 2020, MA000104: Level 1.

I may be able to fill this role, depending on the scope of duties.
I currently clean each week the 4 church sites at Southside UCA [ie Yeronga, Holland Park, Mt Gravatt and Tarragindi churches] and each site requires at least 2 hours work [paid at casual rates ] ; and I would intend to continue to provide those services . I am a member of southside , assist with the music, lay preaching , and yard maintenance [at Yeronga and Holland Park], and take communion to some members in nursing homes.
It sounds as if more extensive cleaning [or more regular cleaning] is needed at Living Water ; but that is not necessarily a problem. I am retired from full time work, and so have some spare time available each week ; and I am in quite good health
