Volunteers are very important in our society and in our church. Without their efforts we would not be able to provide many of the great activities and services that we do.There are many roles for volunteers around our Sunday services and children’s and youth activities – but we also have a wonderful team of volunteers at our Thrift Shop and who care for our property and gardens.
Whatever your interest or talent – be it musical, IT, admin, finance, catering or caring for others we would love your help! If you would like to get involved please fill out the relevant volunteers form (below) and send it into our office or scan and email it to info@livingwateruniting.church.
If you play any musical instrument or would like to participate in leading worship and singing on a Sunday, you are welcome to join one of the music teams to help in worship on Sundays. Ask us about availabilities or come and join our Music Jams where we get all musos together to introduce new songs. Contact the office for more information.
This team looks after all aspects of property management and care. You don’t have to be a member of the church to join this friendly team. People who have a heart for looking after the properties (with handyman or homemaker skills) are encouraged to help out. The team meets at 8:30 am on Tuesdays each week at the Broadwater Road Centre to do projects, have a chat and a cuppa. Once a month (3rd Saturdays) working bees are held to do gardening, cleaning and special projects – everyone is welcome and morning tea provided.
Although our Thrift Shop is a church project, many of the volunteers who help out are from outside of the church. People often respond to the warm and friendly atmosphere by volunteering in the shop as helpers. Without the commitment of volunteers in the shop or in the sorting shed, our Thrift Shop would not be the vibrant place it is today. If you are interested in being part of this exciting team drop in at the shop in Mt Gravatt Central or contact our office.
Please download and fill out the volunteer form and return to the Living Water Mansfield office or scan and email to info@livingwateruniting.church.
