After 22 years at Mt Gravatt Central commercial area, our Thrift Shop has finally arrived at our Mansfield site and since 1st June, it has been operating in the corner of out auditorium, overlooking Broadwater Road and the Mansfield State High School. The response from our old customers, our new customers and the school community has been fantastic. So, we are off to a great start.
This is the first stage of an exciting new project. We are currently working with BCC, builders and Town Planners on the construction of our Mission Hub – which will include a much larger Thrift Shop & sorting room & a coffee shop. We anticipate the project to be completed in May 2027. So, in the meantime, the Thrift Shop will operate from the verandah and pop-up shop space. Why not come and check it out?
The move has necessitated some changes to the auditorium seating – and while we will not be able to house very large groups during this period, the auditorium can still seat well over 200 people for services & events.
