Pastor Sunia Nadruku, who has been on our ministry team since we amalgamated in September 2025, passed away suddenly on Saturday afternoon14th Feburary. His death has come as a great shock to us all and our prayers are with his wife (Alumita), his children, grandchildren and the Fijian Church at Annerley. Sunia had served in many ministry roles across the presbytery over the years, but in recent times was a great blessing to our church community; and his gentle spirit, friendly personality and passion for sharing the gospel – he will be greatly missed.
His funeral will be held at Living Water Uniting Church, Mansfield at 11.30am on Thursday 5th March. His burial is at 1.30pm at Mt Gravatt Lawn Cemetery and a luncheon will be held at the Fijian Uniting Church at 29 Cracknell Road, Annerley at 2.30pm. All welcome!
